            DÔL EINION CAMPSITE , Tal-y-llyn,Gwynedd LL36 9AJ

If you want to camp in a completely natural site where human inflence is kept to a minimum then come to Dôl Einion, Tal-y-llyn! It’s the owner’s wish to keep it that way, and campers love it! And that’s important because it’s there for your enjoyment. Come and prove it! It’s a quiet site that walkers and lovers of the countryside enjoy.

Dôl Einion certificated site is a flat 3 acre field bordered by a stream. Situated in the beautiful Tal-y-llyn Valley it has a background of ancient oak forest while mighty Cader Idris itself rises steeply from the site reflecting the mood in all seasons.

There is a natural hardcore area and 4 electric hook-ups, and 20p coins provide a hot shower. There is a washing-up station (cold water!) on the field, and a septic tank disposal facility. An iphone charging facility is available. Conservation of the exquisite natural surroundings, quiet recreation, and re-cycling, are important aspects of camping here. Walking opportunities abound. A special feature is the style that links the site with the famous Minffordd Path to the summit of Cader Idris. Glorious Tal-y-llyn Lake is a ten minute walk away along “the old road”, a quiet lane.

Minffordd Hotel and bar is five minutes away across Dôl Idris parkland.
